Sly Cooking has arrived! My book looks fabulous – I’m so pleased with it. Exactly the attractive little gift I wanted to make, and it’s for sale in my Etsy shop, along with the original linocuts that I made to go in it, here. They’re the perfect gift for anyone who is curious about Gaelic, or even just about words.
There’s so much to tell you about what’s happening, I’m quite overwhelmed. The exhibition is up now at An Lanntair in the isle of Lewis, and the book will be launched there on 28 October. There has been lots of press coverage, and a one-hour documentary about my project, Mgr Ailein agus na Faclan, will be broadcast on BBC Alba on 30 October. There will also be a special South Uist launch of the book on 1 December.
