My linocut book project, Sly Cooking, has caught the attention of the BBC, and I’ll be spending next week in South Uist and Eriskay (in Scotland’s Western Isles) being filmed for a Gaelic documentary about it. The MacTV production will document my efforts to find out more about the beautiful Gaelic vocabulary collected by Father Allan in the area in the 1890s. I’m hoping to find out that the words are not as long lost as we thought. I can’t wait!
